Bengali/Bangla
Over 284 million people speak Bengali aka Bangla in West Bengal and Bangladesh. It is the seventh most spoken language by the total number of speakers in the world. The programmes in Bengali/Bangla extend Humanity Intelligence and Radical Transformational Leadership (RTL) in urban and rural communities of West Bengal and is now being extended to Bangladesh. DIKSHA is the Bengali/Bangla programme hub. Diksha as an organisation provides opportunity to each of its staff members and volunteers to practice Humanity Intelligence and RTL, and serve communities through that learning. Their wide ranging programmes serve locally; and influence policies.

DIKSHA has also extended RTL practice into the communities it serves through its Youth Leadership Program. Inspired by the possibility of realising their full potential, youth leaders who participated in RTL workshops organised themselves as DIKSHA YouthNest, which is now moving towards registration as an independent, youth-led community-based organisation. Their journey demonstrates how nurturing leadership among young people can transform power dynamics and enable socially excluded communities to claim space for equity, dignity, and justice. Guided by a growing sense of compassion and responsibility, DIKSHA YouthNest has also launched environmental initiatives to reduce plastic use and promote responsible waste management.
